God Blessed the Broken Road

Once upon a time, when I was heartbroken and wasn't coping up well, my close friend Delna made me listen to this song. I can no longer remember the conversation that transpired between us but it was something about the purpose of what I was going through then. I opened up to her and she uplifted my spirit. She told me that what I was going through was just a small part of a grander plan; that God will use that experience to point me to the right direction and to the right person. The first time I heard the song, I loved it immediately. The melody and the lyrics were beautiful and its entirety totally described what I believed in. So now, as I had planned months before, I'm singing this song to the one I love. :-) If you want to listen to the song, please click on the play button of the MP3 player at the right. To The Love of My Early Youthful Years

I don't know if I would be able to express myself well or if you would comprehend the things that I want to convey. Much as I want to explain myself thoroughly, I'm not sure if the things that I write would be as good, if not better, as if I say them out aloud in person. But I will try nonetheless even if in the end you wouldn't understand me. I wrote this letter to make you have a better understanding of me and to finally put an end to the endless circle that we've been running in. I wrote this to pour everything out so I can finally put the pieces of myself together and forget this frightening nightmare that has been haunting me for long. To be honest, I don't know what to expect. I don't know if you would understand me or if you would reply. I don't know if you would give this letter a small degree of importance or if you wouldn't mind it at all. I don't even know if I want you to read this letter but I'm writing it anyway. But if you are, b...

Edward & Bella = Robert & Kristen

Would Edward be able to resist killing Bella? Would Bella be willing to give up her life for Edward? I am more than halfway through the last book of the Twilight Series -- Breaking Dawn. I am expecting to finish it tonight and tomorrow would be a time to hear Edward Cullen's story behind the very bizarre and reason-defying love story of him and Bella Swan. This story has just captivated my mind. Every single thing I think of these days are about Edward and Bella.. and sometimes the funny imprinting of Bella's werewolf best friend Jacob to her and Edward's only half-vampire and half-human daughter Renesmee. Just like a normal addict (as if being an addict is normal), I haven't stopped just by reading the books. Researches here and there have kept me preoccupied in the last few days. Videos, music, write-ups, pictures.. I have searched the net endlessly as I am waiting for the climax of this addiction. I have watched all of the movies' trailers and that made me...

Twilight

My eyes are half-open and tired yet my mind refuses to put me in a deep slumber even if it knows that I badly need a rest from all of these. I have been awake for a little more than thirty-six hours but I can't seem to disassemble my mind, break it into pieces, and try to clear it with everything. I have to think of nothing. I have to focus on nothingness. But the more I try to focus, the more my mind refuses to let go of my imaginations. Yes, I am aware that I am very much imagining things, specifically the scenes from the novel that I am addicted to right now -- Twilight. It started out as a simple curiosity. I have heard my friend, Naomi, tell me things about the novel. I never understood her but I got really curious because she seldom shows me a perfect enthusiasm, or should I say addiction, to novels (except for Harry Potter which I definitely would not read). She sent me an e-mail with pdf files of the four books -- the Twilight Series. I promised her that I would read i...

Pray for a Partner!

I was surprised by the question that my sister threw at me one time, “Do you now have a boyfriend?” Caught off guard, I honestly said, “None.” It was true anyway. I don’t have a boyfriend now. But by the look of her face I could sense that she didn’t believe me maybe because I am so wasteful when it comes to cellphone credits and because I go out almost every night. It was obvious to her that I am seeing a guy. But I told her that the guy I’m seeing is not my boyfriend. He’s just a summer fling. Hehehe… and I don’t have plans of taking it to the next level with him (or who knows?! Ngek!). My sister continued to talk about my love life and as usual, I just kept quiet. It was always like that, I just listen to everything she says simply because I just don’t want to say anything. She was persuading me to spit out my affairs with the guy that I’m seeing but I told her that there is just nothing to spit out because nothing is going on between us in the first place. We’re just going out...
